Illustration

Included here are roughs and illustrations for an unpublished picture book from the early oughts. I tried a few different media; never settled on any one. The model for the girl in the story is my niece Jenna, who is now in college. I took the photos for these illustrations one of the first times I met Jenna. The cat is a slimmed down version of my own cat, Cage, a truly brilliant animal who was lost one stormy night when we first moved into our current home.
